Business Development Executive

Key Responsibilities

  1. Enterprise Business Growth
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the IT enterprise sector, targeting both local and international markets. 
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive sales and promote IT enterprise solutions, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, networking, and software solutions. 
  • Conduct market analysis to understand customer pain points, emerging trends, and competitive positioning to refine the company’s offerings.

   2. Client and Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with enterprise clients, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty. 
  • Act as the primary contact for client accounts, understanding their technical and business needs and offering tailored solutions. 
  • Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, leading to successful deal closure.

  3. Technical Solution Advocacy

  • Articulate the value proposition of IT enterprise solutions, translating technical features into business benefits for prospective clients. 
  • Partner with the technical and product teams to align solutions with customer needs and ensure smooth delivery. 
  • Stay updated on advancements in IT technologies to maintain credibility as a subject matter expert.

  4. Brand Representation

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to showcase expertise and build brand recognition. 
  • Deliver engaging and persuasive presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to enterprise clients and stakeholders. 
  • Serve as the company’s ambassador, projecting professionalism, technical knowledge, and innovation.

  5. Collaboration and Reporting

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to drive business development initiatives. 
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business opportunities to company leadership

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)  

  • Growth in enterprise client base and associated revenue
  • Number and value of closed deals within the IT enterprise sector.
  • Achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Improvement in brand visibility and market presence


Qualifications and Skills 

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). 
  • At least 5–7 years of experience in business development, enterprise IT sales, or account management in the technology sector. 
  • Proven success in developing and closing high-value enterprise deals.  
Technical Expertise 
  • Strong understanding of IT enterprise solutions, including cloud platforms, IT infrastructure, software solutions, and cybersecurity. 
  • Experience with enterprise CRM systems and sales analytics tools such as Salesforce or equivalent. 
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a simple and compelling manner.
Soft Skills
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities with a results-driven mindset 
Other requirements
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, with excellent public-speaking skills. 
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and industry events. 
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
